Lament

This work was composed during the first month of COVID lockdown in April of the this year. Originally I released it as a split screen multi-tracked video of myself playing all the parts, later it was released as part of my ‘Quarantine Pieces Vol.1’, and here it is available arranged for full brass band.
The work is a simple, but beautiful Lament echoing the feelings of the year 2020 and everything that came with it.
The dedication reads “for the songs not sang, the play not shown, the paintings not painted and the music not heard.”
